            A dynamic network of knowledge, beliefs, patterns of behavior, ideas, attitudes, values, and norms that are unique to a particular group of people. It defines roles and interactions with others as well as within families and communities, and is apparent in the attitudes and institutions unique to particular groups.

            The differences among groups of people that result from ethnic, racial and cultural variables. Included in cultural diversity are people of varying racial classification and national origin, religious affiliation, language, physical size, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, socioeconomic status, occupational status, and geographic locations.
    3. Cultural Sensitivity 文化敏感性
            The understanding and tolerance of all cultures and lifestyles. It is crucial in the delivery of competent nursing care. Cultural sensitivity allows nurses to more accurately understand and to accept the behavior of others. Nurses are better able to deliver care, being sensitive to cultural factors involved in the client’s health or illness.
