The cardiovascular system consists of the heart, the blood, and the blood vessels with functions such as pumping, transporting oxygen and nutrients, and providing means and routes for transport throughout the body respectively. As a result, cardiac disorders are almost all well related with these functions, such as aortic stenosis and pulmonary stenosis; these are disorder that cause the obstruction of blood flow leaving the heart.
As usual, we’ll discuss the cardiovascular disorders in children in three aspects:
