The Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous
1. Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends upon A.A. unity.
第一：集体的利益优先，个人的康复靠的是互诫协会的团结一致。
2. For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority—a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern.
第二：对于我们集体来说，我们的最高权威只有一个，这就是爱我们的“上苍”，他是我们集体良知的体现。我们的领导人只不过是得到大家信赖的公仆，但并不是统治我们。
3. The only requirement for A.A. membership is a desire to stop drinking.
第三：作为ＡＡ对会员的唯一要求，就是要有停止喝酒的愿望。
4. Each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or A.A. as a whole.
第四：每一个ＡＡ分会都由自己管理自己，除非有牵涉到其它分会或整个互诫协会的事务。
5. Each group has but one primary purpose—to carry its message to the alcoholic who still suffers.
第五：每个分会的宗旨只有一个，即把这里戒酒的讯息传递给那些仍在遭受痛苦的嗜酒成瘾者。
6. An A.A. group ought never endorse, finance, or lend the A.A. name to any related facility or outside enterprise, lest problems of money, property, and prestige divert us from our primary purpose.
第六：每个分会都不能认可、资助或允许任何有关组织或外面的企业机构使用ＡＡ的名字，以免因为金钱、财产和声誉等问题，使我们偏离根本的目的。
7. Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.
第七：每个分会都应自给自足，谢绝外界捐赠。
8. Alcoholics Anonymous should remain forever non-professional, but our service centers may employ special workers.
第八：ＡＡ应该永远保持其非专业性，但ＡＡ服务中心可以雇用专职工作人员。
9. A.A., as such, ought never be organized; but we may create service boards or committees directly responsible to those they serve.
第九：ＡＡ就其性质而言，不应该建立组织体系，但可以建立服务理事会或委员会，直接向所服务的对象负责。
10. Alcoholics Anonymous has no opinion on outside issues; hence the A.A. name ought never be drawn into public controversy.

11. Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, and films.

12. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.
