Working with service users who are parents – looking beyond risk (pages 469–470)
与作为的用户服务打交道—风险之外
Historically the parental role of people with mental illness has been restricted through institutionalized care, with countries going as far as sterilization, or separating parents from their children against their wil . Deinstitutionalization has meant that more people with mental illness are able to have children and live with them in the community. Indeed, men and women with mental illness are just as likely to be parents as those without mental illness and more than half of service users and mental health nurses come into contact with, in the UK, are parents. In our study, published in this issue, we found that the parental role is highly meaningful and motivating, but its significance to service users is disregarded.

有心理疾病的父母—对支持服务体验及身份认同的定性研究
Parental mental illness is often viewed from a risk perspective. Despite this, being a parent can be both valuable and motivating. Research literature lacks the perspective of mothers and fathers, who have experienced mental illness.
Establishing routines to cope with the loneliness associated with widowhood: a narrative analysis (pages 532–539)
建立丧偶相关孤独的应对常规:说明性分析
Loneliness in older people is a public health concern in many Western countries. While not necessarily a symptom of mental disorder, it is often associated with depression and anxiety. Widowhood is a transition period during which many older people experience acute loneliness but over time develops strategies to manage it. Little is known about effective strategies that older people have used to manage the experience. The strategies older people used to manage this was the focus of this paper.
